The Minister of Investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Co-chairman of the Joint Commission between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia Khalid Bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih and the Minister of Finance of Azerbaijan Samir Sharifov got familiarized with the "Smart village" project, which was built in the village of Agali, the first settlement to be restored in the territories liberated from occupation.  The special representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Vahid Hajiyev, and the Minister of Finance, Samir Sharifov, informed the guests about the first "smart village" of the region. 

            Tural Seyidov, CEO of "AS Group Investment" company, presented the Archimedean screw hydro turbine, installed in the village, to the Saudi minister and gave detailed information about the device. The minister visited the victory monument-complex created in the village square and congratulated the residents of Agali village on their return to their homeland. It is worth mentioning that the works implemented within the Smart Village project such as concept development, urban planning, implementation of smart solutions and alternative energy sources including Archimedean screw hydro turbines and all construction works were carried out by "AS Group Investment".

"AS Group" Investment has successfully registered with the SAP Ariba unified platform of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which allows suppliers and customers to communicate and conduct business on a single platform, by submitting necessary documents. All these steps can be considered as part of the company's policy towards joint cooperation projects with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
