The opening ceremony of the second phase of Aghali village in the Zangilan district took place. The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, attended the event and handed keys of the new houses to the residents.
We proudly note that within the next stage of the “Great Return” program, initiated and led by President Ilham Aliyev, the reconstruction works in Aghali village were successfully carried out by “AS Inshaat” LLC, a subsidiary of “AS Group” group of companies.
The project commenced in May 2024. Under the second phase, a total of 103 houses were commissioned. Of these, 55 are two-room individual houses built on 12-are (0.12-hectare) plots, each with a total living area of 72.71 m².
The remaining 48 apartments are located in three “townhouse”-type residential buildings consisting of two blocks each. These buildings comprise 36 one-room and 12 two-room apartments.
All houses in the village are equipped with modern utility networks. Gas has been supplied to all residential and non-residential buildings, and modern combi heating systems have been installed in the houses.
In addition to the residential area, a 2.2-hectare park has been established in the village. The park will serve as an open recreational and entertainment area for residents of Aghali and Mammadbeyli villages, as well as for visitors. The area is divided into five functional zones, providing all necessary facilities for recreation, sports, and children’s activities. Various trees and shrubs have been planted, forming green alleys throughout the park.
The project implemented in the second phase of Aghali village was developed in accordance with the “Smart Village” concept and aims to ensure high living standards for its residents.
It should be recalled that the first phase of Aghali village was also implemented by “AS Inshaat” LLC based on the “Smart Village” concept and was successfully completed in 2022. The inauguration ceremony was attended by President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva.
