AS Group is participating in WUF13 (World Urban Forum), an event that brings together thousands of representatives from countries around the world to address critical topics such as the future of cities, building inclusive societies, climate change, and social sustainability.
Within the framework of WUF13, themed " Housing the World: Safe and Resilient Cities and Communities " "AS Group" has joined the global housing dialogue with its own projects and approaches. The Group of Companies is both exhibiting at the expo and presenting its sustainable development projects at the forum's conferences, sharing its approaches to shaping modern urban environments, and discussing opportunities for collaboration with international partners.
"AS Group" is represented at the exhibition with a two-part stand — one section showcasing the group's social projects, and the other its commercial developments.
The "Smart Village" project, established in the village of Aghali in the Zangilan district, the foundation of which was laid by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev has drawn particular attention from exhibition visitors. Attendees were informed that the Smart Village was implemented from concept through design, construction, and full handover by "AS Inshaat" LLC, a member of the AS Group companies.
The Smart Village is a settlement equipped with the necessary infrastructure to ensure sustainable development, improve the quality, safety, and efficiency of socio-economic services, implement information technologies and innovative solutions, and enable the effective use and management of existing resources.
The exhibition also features the Archimedean turbines, set up to supply Aghali village with alternative energy, as an example of a smart solution.
In addition, AS Group is showcasing its Dovlatyarli village project designed in the Fuzuli district, as well as concrete products manufactured at the Small-Form Concrete Products Plant of “AS Istehsal Karabakh” LLC.
Among the Group's commercial projects, the 4You Baku residential complex built in the city of Baku in partnership with Kazakhstan's BI Group is on display.
Within the framework of WUF13 (World Urban Forum), a session was held on the topic " Urban Value Chain in Action: Delivering Smart and Sustainable Urban Projects in Azerbaijan."
At the event, AS Group representative Mirza Abdullayev delivered a presentation providing detailed information about the company's River City project. The presentation highlighted the innovative solutions applied within the project, sustainable urban planning approaches, and contributions to the development of the urban environment. Special emphasis was also placed on the significance of modern technologies and ecological approaches in the urban development process.
It is worth noting that AS Group has played a leading role in the implementation of complex projects for both the public and private sectors since 2003. The company successfully operates in the fields of construction, real estate, agriculture, industry, transport and logistics, renewable energy, and HoReCa. AS Group also makes significant contributions to attracting foreign investment into the country through international projects.
