AS Group Investment presented a 3-room apartment to the martyr's family on the eve of the anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War.

AS Group Investment based on the President's policy of supporting the families of martyrs and veterans and as well as its social responsibility to our state and society presented an apartment to the Lieutenant Colonel Mehman Ganbarov’s family, who was martyred in the Great Patriotic War. His family lived in a rented house in Binagadi settlement. 

On September 31, 2021, employees of AS Group Investment met with the family of the martyr and presented the documents of the new home to our heroic martyr’s wife Khuraman Ganbarova. This unexpected and sudden news has brought incredible joy to the family’s members who is living for years longing for housing.

The 3-room apartment which is given to the family of martyred Lieutenant Colonel Mehman Ganbarov is located in the Gol-Park Residential Complex by AS Group Investment. AS Group Investment has also undertaken to completely renovate and equip the new apartment. 

The martyred lieutenant colonel Mehman Ganbarov was chosen for his heroism in the battles of April 2016. He also earned the rank of lieutenant colonel for his special heroism in the fierce battles in the direction of the village of Talysh. Our martyr was born in the Aghdam region and then lived as an IDP as a child as a result of the First Karabakh War and during these years his greatest wish was to liberate his native lands from occupation. His last words to his family when he went to the Second Karabakh War was that: “It is life, anything can happen. I may not return. The main thing is to liberate our lands!”.

Martyr Ganbarov showed special heroism in the liberation of several villages in the fighting on September 27. On September 30, he was heroically martyred in the Fizuli region, besieging his comrades-in-arms, who were surrounded by the enemy like a ring. After his death, the martyr Ganbarov was awarded medals “For the Motherland”, “For the release of Fizuli” and “Order of Karabakh”. 

It should be noted that in March of this year, AS Group Investment also presented an apartment to family of Mingachevir martyr Sergeant Niyazi Isgandarov in the “Park Residence” residential building which is built by AS Group Investment in the Mingachevir.
