The territory of the greenhouse complex “AS Agro Co.” LLC, the construction of which began in 2016, is 12 hectares. Of these, 5 hectares are used for arable land. The main purpose of creating a greenhouse complex and its service areas on the territory of Hovsan is to support the development of the non-oil sector in our country and create permanent working places and promotion of social welfare on the Absheron Peninsula.
The complex has such departments with the use of modern technologies as production, logistics, storage, sorting, packaging and labeling. Currently, greenhouse produces pink tomatoes, as well as grapelike “Bandita” tomato variety for sale mostly for export also for domestic market. Greenhouse complex, fitted with materials and equipment of Dutch, Turkish, Israeli and Italian production.
